OZ Kut is the latest iteration in the quest for a PZ Kut replacement. It is smooth to cut with a gouge and the pop out problem from previous trial batches has been conquered. I like carving with this material a lot - and so did Electric -- the write up of his test report and the images he carved to try it out can be found on the Stampeaz Blog.
So, this might actually be a finished product, but I will be anxious to hear what the carving community's consensus is to see if there are any improvements that can be made. :)
I'd still give the surface a light sanding before transferring an image to the block to carve, since it does have a very slight sheen from the extrusion process and that should help it take ink better.
The block is marked on the *back* with "OZ".
I can fit about 10 of these into the standard flat rate envelope.
